We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Service Engineer to maintain and repair marine equipment, with a focus on diesel engines, air compressors, and pumps. This role requires site-based support at shipyards and onboard vessels, demanding a strong electrical and mechanical foundation, safety compliance, and required certifications.

️ **Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauling of marine diesel engines, centrifugal pumps, and air compressor systems onboard vessels and in shipyard environments
- Diagnose faults in control panels, electrical systems, and motor-driven machinery, ensuring rapid and effective repair solutions
- Configure and calibrate systems involving Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for electrical motors
- Coordinate with ship operators, technical managers, and shipyard personnel to schedule service jobs and communicate work progress
- Maintain compliance with shipyard safety protocols, biosafety requirements, and marine standards during service interventions
- Prepare technical service reports and document all diagnostics, repairs, and parts replacementsProvide commissioning support for new equipment installations and retrofitting projects when required

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma/NITEC in Marine Engineering, Mechnical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience with marine diesel systems and rotating equipment
- Electrical knowledge and experience with control panels, VFDs, and motor protection systems
- Familiar with troubleshooting techniques for mechanical and electro-mechanical components onboard vessels
- Must possess valid **Shipyard Safety Certificate**and **Biosafety Certificate**for marine service access
- Able to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- **Nice to Have**
- Class 3 Driving License for site mobility
- Knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, and ABS/DNV requirements
- Familiarity with service procedures for engine brands like Cummins, MAN, or Caterpillar
- Experience in offshore or vessel retrofitting projects
