**Job description**:

- Helping pets with their basic grooming, e.g. nails, ear cleaning, shaving paw pads and hygiene area, bath and dry.
- General housekeeping.
- Attending to customers, answering the phone if other co-workers are busy.

Pay will go according to skills and experience and how much you’re willing to contribute your skills and time to the operations.

- Grooming is a very physically and emotionally demanding job. Many groomers start young but only a handful manage to work pass 40 years of age.
- We don’t earn a lot of money.
- Most pets do not like grooming. Some downright hate it and they will hate you.
- Accidents do happen and as animal lovers, we tend to blame ourselves a little too much.
- It’s a dirty job. Just ask any groomers if any of them enjoy the smell of anal glands.
