Role Summary:
Key member of team managing Group’s insurance policies, including property & casualty, project construction, business interruption, marine cargo, product liability, directors & officer's liability.

You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
Working as key member of team managing the following:
- Develop insurance strategy for the Group.- Conduct risk assessment analysis and implement business improvement strategies relating to insurance for the Group- Ensure Group’s corporate policy on insurance is systematically implemented at different business units- Prepare annual insurance budget, track premium payments and report deviations to management.- Risk presentation to brokers and/or insurers before each key renewal.- Obtain, review and negotiate competitive terms and pricing with brokers and/or insurers.- Analyse the renewal terms for each class of risk together with alternative cover and premium options where applicable.- Provide advice on alternative risk transfer and/or risk control and/or risk financing options where applicable.- Establish and develop relationships with insurers, re-insurers and brokers. Develop independent insurance monitoring platform to enhance management’s understanding of policies in force and facilitate decision-making.- Develop claims tracking system and ensure claims and reimbursements are promptly made.- Benchmarking with industry to assess reasonableness of Group’s insurance policies.- Update and maintain robust records of Group-wide insurance premiums, coverage and claims for reporting. Analyse trends and make recommendations to management to optimize policies.- Regular review meetings and knowledge sharing with BGs and Group management regarding developments in insurance market.
**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Degree from reputable university with minimum 8 years of relevant commercial insurance experience- Good understanding of insurance industry, fundamentals and regulations- Possess Certification in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent- Analytical and detailed oriented.- Ability to think strategically- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
