Leveraging on undying influence of Japanese culture outside of Japan and the current climate where there are no boundaries for entertainment & music content, as Assistant Manager of Music Label team at Avex Asia, you are mainly responsible not only for identifying repertoires that have potential outside of Japan, developing them and executing marketing & promotional plans along with Senior Manager, Music Labe but also supporting the team across various areas of business.

Subsequently, as the team & function expand, there will be additional team responsibilities including but not limited to A&R, artist management, live events / touring, distribution / licensing etc. which may be considered to be assigned to you.

**[What you will do]**

You will be a point of contact both internally and externally with all matters around Avex’s repertoires along with Senior Manager, Music Label - including but not limited to AMC (Avex Music Creative; Avex’s Record Label team), AMG (Avex Management; Avex’s Artist Management team), ALC (Avex Live Creative; Avex’s Live Event team), Digital Service Providers (Spotify, Apple, YouTube, TikTok, Meta etc.), Marketing & PR agencies, Media outlets, Promoters, Brands etc.

You are willing to go above and beyond to understand & learn the unique landscape of Japanese entertainment scene and adapt into your day-to-day where applicable.

**Core Responsibilities**
- **Campaign Planning & Execution**:Assisting in the planning and execution of artist-driven & live event marketing campaigns including but not limited to on-ground initiatives, digital marketing, social media, and traditional media. Furthermore, coordinating the creation of promotional materials such as press releases, promotional videos, and social media content.
- **Project Management**:Assisting the team in the project management by, including but not limited to, organising a collaborative project management tool, researching required information and its analysis, creating required assets & materials.
- **Networking and Industry Relations**:Attending industry events, networking with other professionals, and representing the company. Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, artists, promoters, and other key industry figures.

**[Who you are]**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience from music / entertainment industry with an understanding of the industry, digital music ecosystem and Southeast Asian digital & traditional media landscape.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to develop strong relationships at all levels in & out of the organisation.
- Passion, curiosity and interest to follow the latest trends and technology in music / entertainment industry.
- Experience working across Southeast Asia region with an understanding of different natures of each market.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to details with ability to work on multiple projects.
- Strong mentality to remain with objective & learning mindset.
- Proficiency in Japanese language preferred.
