Solar Engineer

Create initial layouts for the solar projects
- Interpret civil and structural documents to assist in the design process
- Design major and minor modifications to electrical systems
- Design of grid tie solar PV systems, including selection and sizing of equipment, Solar module, inverter, cable, and cable trunking etc., technical analysis, performance, and glare simulations
- Prepare Pvsyst simulation report
- Complete electrical design including single line drawings for solar projects
- Finalize the electrical system design and prepare construction documents
- Check existing drawings and survey existing site conditions to determine the best possible locations for the solar project
- Familiar with PV simulation software such as PVsyst and Helioscope
- Identify problem areas that will affect design of new systems
- Preparation of shop drawings
- Update construction documents and develop final as-builts

**Requirement**:

- Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Electrical Engineering. Clean Energy Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Has knowledge in electrical design concepts
- Knowledge in energy modelling software (PVsyst), AUTOCAD and construction modelling software
- Committed individual with great initiative and strong problem-solving skills
