**Event Director**

The Event Director is tasked to work closely with the Account and Events Teams in conceptualizing breakthrough ideas to spearhead the development of events for clients.

**FUNCTIONS & OBJECTIVES**:

- To lead creative sessions for project kick-offs.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
- Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of clients.
- Establish creative direction and generate multiple concepts for a project.
- Be responsible for generating ideas for pitching and proposals.
- To provide solutions and innovation to effectively meet the event’s objective.
- To be able to anticipate problems and offer effective solutions to the client before and during the event.
- Conceptualize and prepare creative proposals customized to individual client's needs and requirements.
- Key liaison between client, in-house designers and other 3rd party vendors leading up to the event, ensuring that both client and event requirements are met.
- To project manage the workflow, logístical support and timeliness of the delivery for projects undertaken.
- Manage project budgets and quotations.
- Liaison with other corporate offices to coordinate and exchange information and provide event support where appropriate.

**POSSESS KNOWLEDGE OR QUALITIES OF THE FOLLOWING**:

- Able to independently handle an event or lead a team to accomplish the task
- Proven record in developing creative ideas, especially for event executions
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills
- Occasional overseas traveling is required

**ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION**
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Arts/Social Sciences or equivalent.

**YEARS OF EXPERIENCE**
- At least 8 years of experience in events/conference management and execution, preferably with experience in event conceptualization.
