A leading organisation is looking for an Engineer with project experience in newbuilding to join their established team in Singapore

We are exclusively representing this high profile and extremely progressive entity who is an industry leader with their strategy on environment and human sustainability. They are growing their fleet and team and are now looking for an experienced individual to join to support their newbuilding programme, playing a pivotal role in the design and tender process through to supervising the build (all with respect to machinery and electric).

In this role, your remit will be inclusive of the following:

- Assist in the procurement of newbuildings
- To offer advice on how to optimise newbuilding design
- To supervise the newbuilding construction at the shipyard
- To report/offer advice on environmental topics associated with the build
- To assist in devising the company’s environmental sustainability-related strategies and action plans from a technical standpoint via collaboration with relevant internal and external key stakeholders.

To be suitable for this role you will ideally hold a Master of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and will have had five years’ experience in a similar role in the container segment.
