Our client is a global fund management company that is looking for

**Fund Manager Assistant**

Assist Fund Managers in daily monitoring of their portfolios by delivering data in an accurate & timely manner and investigating issues. Ongoing enhancement of the investment processes and infrastructure. To assist the Fund Manager in taking overall responsibility for the daily operations and service delivery for a portfolio of fund clients and entities and review the team’s deliverables to ensure the clients are receiving the highest quality of service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting the Fund Manager in acting as the primary contact for all client matters and maintaining client relationships.
- Overseeing key fund services processes such as periodic reporting, capital call, distribution, fund investor onboarding / KYC, and fund investor queries.
- Assist Fund Manager in preparation, typing, compiling data, and editing of research reports.
- Provide general administrative support such as data entry, paperwork, filing, recording of investments, and contract management.
- Work with and maintain a good relationship with banks, brokers, custodians, fund admin, and law advisors.
- Undertake the year-end audit process for client entities: conducting detailed planning; being a central point of contact for all audit queries; ensuring the approaches adopted are appropriate and that issues raised are resolved expediently; ensuring that all parties are kept informed of the status; and ensuring timely clearance for approving the accounts and ancillary documentation.
- Supporting the Fund Manager on resource management, including undertaking recruitment interviews.

Professional Experience And Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- Holds a professional accountancy qualification
- Experience in operating an investment accounting system
- Have experience in financial statement preparation
- Have a good understanding of the transactions undertaken by alternative investment fund structures along with broader product and industry knowledge
- Ability to learn quickly and work within a team under the guidance of a senior colleague/mentor
