Legal and Compliance Manager

Our client is a prestigious Single Family Office managing a diverse portfolio across private equity, real estate and public markets. To strengthen governance and regulatory oversight, they seek a Legal & Compliance Manager to join their lean, high-performing team. In this role, you will oversee legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across the Family Office’s operations. This includes providing legal support on transactions, managing external counsel, maintaining governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide legal advice on investments, contracts, and corporate matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
- Manage external legal advisors and oversee regulatory filings.
- Implement and monitor compliance policies, AML/KYC processes, and risk frameworks.
- Support governance and maintenance of corporate records across the group.Advise senior leadership on legal and regulatory risks.
**Requirements**:
- Legally qualified (e.g., Solicitor, Barrister) with 5-8 years' experience.
- Background in private wealth, investments, or family office preferred.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, corporate governance, and cross-border structures.
- Able to operate independently with discretion and sound judgment.Experience working with UHNW families or private capital structures is advantageous.- EA License: 16S8131 _
