Creative Lead

**Role Summary**

Are you a visual storyteller who can bring bold ideas to life? We’re looking for a **Creative Lead** to shape the look and feel of HIDDEN’s experiences and brand. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our creative output - from designing jaw-dropping posters and TikTok-worthy teaser videos, to making sure every clue card, trail map, and social media graphic is polished and on-brand. You’ll work hands-on with design tools _and_ generative AI to execute work that wows our audience. This is a chance to flex your creativity across a **wide range of projects** (think game visuals, merchandise, event collateral, and more) and see your ideas come alive in the real world. **Key Responsibilities**

**Creative & Visual (80%) - Lead**
- **Design and Asset Creation**: Design a variety of marketing and game assets, including puzzle clues, posters, web/app visuals, merchandise graphics, event signage, and anything else needed to bring our games and experiences to life. Every piece should feel bold, immersive, and true to the HIDDEN brand.
- **Visual Storytelling for Video**: Create storyboards, scripts, and visual content for video deliverables (e.g. social reels, game trailers, teaser videos). You’ll craft compelling short-form videos that build excitement, whether it’s a sneak peek of a new quest or a recap of players on an adventure.
- **Generative AI Content**: Leverage cutting-edge generative AI tools (e.g. _Google DeepMind’s Veo, OpenAI’s Sora_, etc.) to produce creative content. For example, you might use AI to generate fantastical imagery or cinematic video snippets to enhance our marketing campaigns. _(Don’t worry if you haven’t used these exact tools, we’ll share our knowledge. - **Cross-Team Collaboration**: Work closely with game designers, marketers, and partnership teams to translate ideas into visual form. You’ll brainstorm with the team and then **execute** the vision, ensuring that the visuals for each new game or partnership campaign are not only attractive but also communicate the story effectively. (Expect to contribute your creative touch to all the games and experiences we launch.)
- **Brand Consistency**: Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity for HIDDEN across all outputs. From typography and color schemes to the tone of illustrations, you’ll be the guardian of our brand’s look-and-feel, making sure every customer touchpoint feels like _us_.
- **Project Leadership**: Manage the end-to-end creative process for your projects. This includes prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with any external creatives when needed. _(Occasionally, you may guide freelance designers, videographers, or other contractors. You’ll ensure their work meets our standards and fits our brand, but this role is still very much a hands-on creator role.)_

**Marketing & Content (20%) - Support**
- **Social Media Content**: Support the Head of Marketing in developing engaging content for our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.). This could mean designing interactive Instagram stories, creating eye-catching visuals for posts, or editing short videos that capture the highlights of our events and games.
- **Copywriting & Storytelling**: Assist with copywriting and campaign storytelling. You might craft witty captions, help write a blog post about a new game launch, or ensure that our marketing copy and visuals align seamlessly to tell a coherent story.
- **Content Planning**: Help plan and schedule content releases. Working with the marketing team, you’ll contribute ideas for content calendars around game launches, influencer takeovers, or seasonal campaigns, ensuring we always have fresh, creative content to keep our audience engaged.

**Who We’re Looking For**
- **Design Vision & Storytelling**: You have a strong eye for design and a passion for visual storytelling. You can take an idea and translate it into compelling visuals that tell a story at a glance.
- **Tool Mastery**: You’re proficient with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro etc.), Canva, and video editing software. (Familiarity with motion graphics or simple animation is a bonus)
- **AI Enthusiast**: You’ve experimented with creative AI tools, or at least you’re eager to dive in. Whether it’s generating images, videos, or other media, you’re excited about the possibilities of AI in the creative process and not afraid to learn new tech.
- **Hands-on & Organized**: You are a self-driven creator who loves bringing ideas to life. You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects, stay organized with files and deadlines, and take initiative to get things done without always waiting for instruction.
