**In this role, you will**:

- Plan and manage projects that support the sustainable expansion and intensification of aquaculture such as environmental monitoring and management of fish farming sites
- Undertake activities related to aquaculture environmental data collection and interpretation
- Identify knowledge or technology gaps related to monitoring and management of the aquaculture site conditions and develop solutions to address the gaps, including conduct of relevant R&D projects
- Engage local and regional counterparts and specialists to address emerging issues related to the environmental sustainability of the aquaculture industry
- Perform duties as required for the smooth implementation of the aquaculture environmental monitoring and management programmes

**Our requirements**:

- Strong scientific or research background in aquaculture-related fields such as marine and environmental sciences, aquaculture engineering and digital technologies
- Prior experience working in related fields will be an advantage
- Prepared to work on weekends and after office hours when necessary
- Able to work in the office and field/offshore environments, including onboard sea-going vessels
- Team player with good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
