**The opportunity**:
The Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Supplier Excellence, for our Sephora Southeast Asia, Korea and Oceania region, is overseeing our Supplier Performance & brand collaboration within our omni business in the region.
This position plays an important role in ensuring seamless collaboration between various regional departments and countries at Sephora and our suppliers, optimizing our different Supply Chain KPI (inventory & Cash, On shelf Availability, costs, etc), through engaging optimization of our upstream Supply Chain.
Reporting to our Senior Manager - Supply Chain Excellence, she/he will manage a team of 1person in charge of claims management, will be part of our Center of Excellence team and will drive our Supply Chain brand collaboration & performance with our suppliers: Supply Chain contracts & conditions, scorecards, optimization projects, and manage operationally our claims and returns to brands partners.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Supplier relationship management
- Together with our internal stakeholders (Merchandising, Logistics, Planning ), she/he will define our ways of working with brands (segmentation) in terms of Supply Chain and collaborate with suppliers to enhance Supply Chain performance, quality, and overall efficiency.
- Update and provide enhancements of our Sephora Brand Relations Handbook, and accompany new brands onboarding.
Supplier performance monitoring
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (Supplier fill rate, inventory health, On-Shelf Availability ) to identify areas for improvement in Supply Chain (across planning and logistics) and growth opportunities.
- Define and animate performance scorecards for our brands partners.
Reverse logistics & claims management
- Manage operationally our returns to our suppliers in case of expiration, discontinuation, excess, quality issues, etc. Manage and streamline our claims process, making sure it is seamless and efficient for all parties involved.
Process optimization & projects
- Analyze current upstream supply chain processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Implement best practices/automation/efficiency projects to streamline operations and reduce costs while maintaining high quality. Participate actively in different internal projects.
Stakeholder and team management
- Proactively seek and leverage meaningful and efficient relationship with different stakeholders: internal stakeholders (including executive leadership, merchandising, finance, other supply chain departments / countries), as well as external stakeholders (such as brands and external partners).
- Manage 1 person based in Indonesia.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
- Proven track record of success in different supply chain roles within the retail industry or FMCG, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience in working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency with IT systems and analytics; ability to build automated solutions (RPA, Brands portal, EDI ) with our partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in a dynamic, complex and volatile environment.
