**Front of House Supervisor, Office of Venue Management**
- The Front of House (FOH) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the performance venue and its activities. The FOH Supervisor will head a team of casual staff to ensure all front-of-house staff work adhere to policies and procedures for a safe, orderly and welcoming environment for all audience and visitors.**The duties and responsibilities include**:

- Manage the FOH operations of the venue and ensure that the reception functions are managed efficiently
- Act as Duty Manager and ensure all FOH staff work within standard operating procedures and services are delivered to appropriate standards
- Conduct training for FOH staff, monitor work performances, perform timekeeping and general discipline to ensure that events are supported to excellent service standards
- Plan work schedule of casual staff to ensure that events at the venues are adequately staffed, and prepare pre-event briefing materials and post-event activity reports, close timesheets for casual staff and labour account after event
- Liaise with hirers on their front of house requirements, provide induction to the building’s fire evacuation procedures and communicate relevant information
- Prepare monthly FOH statistics, maintenance and inventory reports
- Liaise with Property Management’s team of security/ cleaners/ M&E technicians to ensure the facilities are clean, presentable and safe at all times
- Responsible for OVM’s safety and emergency plans, including first aid requirements, fire and security procedures within the house; ensure all FOH staff are familiar with the building’s safety and fire evacuation procedures
- Handle feedback from patrons, incidents and accidents during performances; submit incident reports to Venue Manager after event as required
- Collect monitoring data of audience for events to assist the implementation of regular audience and user surveys
- Ensure that publicity materials displayed are up-to-date and well-presented
- Develop and implement customer care policy and practice by organising customer care training for relevant staff
- Engage in cross-training and functions in venue and production operations and project management
- Support school-wide events and key activities
- Adhere to SOTA’s prevailing policies and procedures
- Accept any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer or Management of the School

**Requirements**:

- Diploma and above
- At least 4 years of experience in a role involving front line customer service and performance venues’ operations (preferably in arts and entertainment industry)
- Experience in staff supervision and management
- Meticulous with good organisational skills
- Able to work independently and be a good team player
- Possess positive and motivated personality with good initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment and handle complex situations professionally
- Long working hours, with frequent requirement to work on weekends and/or Public Holidays
