**JOB OPPORTUNITY : FUND ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT (FUND MANAGEMENT COMPANY)**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

This is a new position to be part of our growing team. The new team member will be responsible for the broad spectrum of financial, operational and accounting matters for our funds. As the **FUND ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT, **you will be working alongside a network of highly specialised professionals for the proper execution of investment transactions, financial reporting and general compliance. The incumbent team member is also responsible for managing the monthly and annual company accounts.

**PROFILE**
- A Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience working in accounts. As this role involves fund accounting and managing a team, experience in fund accounting is a necessary requirement.
- Experience in KYC/AML-related compliance matters will be an added advantage
- Deadline oriented with ability to complete assigned tasks independently, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel skills
- Team player and able to manage a team

**ROLE**
- Handling and monitoring the operational processes of fund finance
- Putting up the policies/procedures and maintenance of Operations Procedure Manuals
- Participate in the implementation of fund structures
- Work with Fund Administrators on fund subscriptions, transfers, redemptions and various investment reports to investors
- Assist to perform regular fund NAV valuation, trade booking, reconciliation, corporate actions, NAV reporting, financial reporting as well as client reporting
- Review the accuracy and completeness of clients’ statement of accounts which will include capital activity, investment activity, income and expense accruals, valuation adjustments, etc.
- Support quarterly regulatory reporting to MAS
- Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations such as preparing invoices, monthly disbursements and to handle payroll matters
- Assist to manage and coordinate compliance and regulatory requirements involving auditors, corporate secretary, tax advisors and legal counsels
- Assist in customer due diligence matters
- Handle routine regulatory reporting, opening of bank accounts, ad-hoc clients’ requests and to assist in the daily operations of the funds
- Manage a team of finance / accounting professionals
- Overall responsible for company’s administration matters
