The overall aim of this position is to support all revenue driving activities in the hotel by preparing for and executing revenue strategies. The responsibilities also to ensure that business planning and forecasting at department levels are conducted according to established procedures and are aligned to overall company goals. The incumbent will be required to work closely with the General Manager and Senior Management to advice and report on any business opportunities and strategic planning. He / she will be required to work on business cases, business models and strategic plans and give analytical support to assist in key decision making for the organization going forward.

**Primary Responsibilities:
**Analysis**
- To analyze monthly and yearly performance results of each business unit against budgets and balanced scorecards, and submit a report of this analysis, with appropriate action plans to GM / EXCO.
- To participate with EXCO / DHs in the coordination and development of annual business plans and budgets of the hotel.
- To educate and assist Department Heads (DHs) in preparation of strategy maps and balanced scorecard and budgets.
- To assist DHs in developing action plans for the execution of strategy maps, business plans and Mystery shop (and any other special projects) and to plan, develop and direct overall research strategy and approach for special projects.
- To plan, develop, and direct overall research strategy and approach for special projects.
- To collate and disseminate general information, internal database and market intelligence to provide a basic platform for DHs to use in the development of their business strategies and plans.
- To establish reporting procedures to track departmental performance against business plans and budget
- Conduct appropriate studies, make evaluative decisions and recommend courses of action to develop initiatives that would advance the interests of the Hotel.
- Conduct regular educational sessions with all the Associates to assist them in the understanding the Hotel’s strategy and overall business approach, in order to maximize business.
- Develop and maintain a high level of communication with all related departments on the strategies and business planning, and ensure detailed reports are compiled and distributed (as required) to those departments.
- Conduct regular internal process audits for the hotel and assist with improvement action plan development and implementation.

**E-Commerce (in the absence of Distribution Sales Manager)**
- Maintain complete and proper loading of hotel information, rates and availability on the brand website giving preference to the brand website.
- Maintain complete and proper loading of hotel information, rates and availability on PPHG approved Third Party sites.
- Recommend the right mix of Third Party sits for optimal exposure for the hotel.

**Revenue Management**
- Prepare revenue management forecast as per PPHG Standard Operating Procedures.
- Prepare weekly revenue meeting, with analysis, agenda and minutes.
- Follow up on revenue management meeting action items.
- Assist to establish reporting procedures to track departmental performance against business plans and budget.
- Conduct appropriate studies, make evaluative decisions and recommend courses of action to develop initiatives that would advance the interests of the Hotel.
- Evaluate hotel’s pricing strategy against competition for effectiveness.
- Manage and maintain accuracy of IDeaS revenue management system.
- Participate in the annual business planning exercise.
- Support the Revenue Manager in maintaining relevant and up-to date information/content in GDS through Lanyon. To work with Marketing Communication to ensure that there are constant review and update of the GDS teasers/advertisements, so as to get maximum exposure from the TMS agencies.
- Ensure top listing placements on the GDS through timely participation in the respective programs.
- Effective use and analysis of intelligence reports/sources such as Rateview, Futurepace, Hotelligence, Google Analytics, etc, to identify any new trends, to monitor hotel’s performance and market share versus competitors.

**Others**
- Perform tasks independently or with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate a good working relationship with other departments with a high level of communication and co-operation in the interests of guest service and overall revenue improvement.
