**What a Manufacturing IT System Engineer does at HP**:

- Pilots and drives industrial 4.0 technology with design thinking methodology.
Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines to meet manufacturing processes requirements.

Flexible working hours to support live manufacturing environment.
- To be on-site working on machine, whenever necessary.
**Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess**:

- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in highly automated and high-volume manufacturing environments with machinery.
- Strong software programming language in C++, C#, VB.NET in the software development for machine control, and socket communication using Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) between machines and IT data system.
- Experience in machine vision preferred.
Good hardware knowledge in PC-based machine control system and electronic test instrument with equipment connectivity.
Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate various options to meet project scope and schedule.
