We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Associate, Actuarial Services**.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- The jobholder is responsible for providing assistance to the valuation, stress testing and other reporting requirements in the Actuarial Services Department to support business needs
- The jobholder supports the computing of reserves and capital requirements for solvency monitoring, solvency projections and business planning purposes
- Perform valuation projects assigned which may involve solvency, balance sheet and profit & loss management, bonus investigation, stress testing, etc
- Support new product assessment, including but not limited to reserving/solvency bases review, valuation modelling requirements etc
- Support assumption review
- Responsible for maintaining local Model Governance standards as per HSBC guidelines
- Work closely with the group office and external Actuarial consultants, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- University graduate in a relevant discipline in Actuarial Studies, with good progress in actuarial exams of an international recognized actuarial body
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Hands-on experience in Prophet is a plus
