**Job Description for a Full Semester Intern (5months)**:

**Title of project**:
LAM CIP Edge Ring Qualification

**Description of project**:
Evaluate CIP Edge Ring in LAM Workstation for yield improvement and cost reduction.

**Scope**:
Your job scope (as an engineering intern) would involve in evaluating a CIP Edge Ring in LAM Workstation for yield improvement and cost reduction under the guidance of a senior engineer. Some specific tasks that you may be responsible could include:

- Develop and optimize dry etch processes through recipe development and parts qualification to meet product specifications.
- In-depth understanding to dry etch process, specifically conductor etching and process deviation troubleshooting.
- Design and execute experiments to identify optimal process conditions for process improvement.
- Collaborate with process/equipment engineers and technicians for process characterization, problem solving, statistical data analysis and design of experiment.

**Deliverables**:

- Understanding of dry etch process and LAM tool overview.
- Qualification of CIP Edge Ring
- MTBC extension qualification by 300hrs for tool manufacturing availability (MA%) improvement.

**Skillset Required**:

- Students pursuing bachelor’s degree in engineering.
