Singapore SEATRIUM LIMITED Full time

Assists in identifying and monitoring market trends & developments in the marine industry.
- Monitors market strategies and market goals/achievement.
- Gathers data for formulating business/marketing plans and budgets.
- Maintains marketing database by perusing relevant publications and updating company, country and market files on a regular basis.
- Undertakes studies and submit reports on specialized markets (e.g. tanker, gas carrier, cruise) and shipping trends on a quarterly basis.
- Prepares marketing briefs for marketing visits by Senior Mangers.
- Conducts after sales interviews with attending Superintendents when the repair job is completed. Compile _After Sales Follow-Up Reports _after consultation with relevant Production personnel involved. Compile, monthly, a _Summary of Superintendents’ Views _for Management’s review.
- Feedback to customers, remedial action taken on a quarterly basis.
- Monitors and follows-up with agents on marine casualties for prospects of work.
- Coordinates the compilation of monthly data on sales made by major yards in Singapore.
- Collects data and assists Business Manager in preparing Sales Forecast at year-end
- Assists in speech writing and preparation of conference papers for Senior Managers.
- Ensure the safety of personnel through compliance with Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Regulations.
- Ensure that Health, Safety & Environmental operating procedures are followed and counsel employees about compliance as necessary.
- Participate in the preparation of Safe work, Environmental control and Emergency procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/ Degree in engineering (Preferably Marine/ Mechatronic/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering)
- 3-5 Years in Marine Engineering or Engineering Experience
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
- Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
- Good command of English is a prerequisite.
