The role will also encompass responsibility for the CME Group Hong Kong office, ensuring alignment with regional and global leadership, engagement with local planning and execution initiatives, fostering a positive, diverse and inclusive culture and environment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Working with US and EMEA peers, leverage CME Group global retail strategy to define and execute the APAC region retail strategy across (not limited to) the Korean, Greater China, South-East Asian and Australasian markets where CME operates. As a function of this the role will require circa 30% of time spent travelling.
- Managing a regional team of Retail sales professionals, leveraging existing metrics-based framework of sales pipeline and client engagement. Ability to develop talent within your people and implement change.
- Maximizing existing network of client (broker) relationships within the Retail segment across the APAC region, identifying channels to increase collaboration and resultant utilization of CME Group products across all asset classes. Ensure creation and effective implementation of account plans for existing brokers.
- Create sales targets / budgets based on Business Line Management (asset class) strategic imperatives.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of CME Group products across FX, Commodity, Equity, Interest Rate products as well as CME clearing, data and technology offerings.
- Alignment with APAC and Global International leadership. Implementation of all relevant policy and procedures and ensuring compliance with the same within the context of the Hong Kong office.

Additional Accountabilities:

- Drive the retail component in contributing to individual CD&S country plans.
- Independently develop relationships with executive, business development and senior sales level individuals at existing and prospective firms.
- Work with shared services across the enterprise to assist in resolving support issues.
- Diligently and consistently leverage the CRM system to manage and track sales activity.
- Leverage internal data sources to track, analyze and report performance against key metrics

and activities.
- Participate in efforts to educate customers in CME Group products and value proposition, working in strong partnership with Marketing, Events and Education stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of financial derivatives services sales and trading experience with a deep expertise within the APAC retail trading competitive landscape
- 5+ years' experience leading a sales team
- Expertise in regional financial market strategy from a Retail perspective, with demonstrable track of implementing global strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Math, Finance or a related field. Master's degree preferred Software Requirements: Proficiency with Google suite and Salesforce

- Relevant regional language skills are a plus
