Intern (Chp)

**Purpose statement**:
To efficiently produces high quality materials for use in IDT’s production labs.

**Essential Functions**:

- Preparation of all materials required in a timely fashion.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials, all mixtures and formulations and ensure all documentation are completed and recorded in the ERP system.
- Change waste containers and dispose of waste material.
- Utilize the ERP system to monitors inventory of the group effectively.
- Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Follow all work instructions pertaining to processes.
- Perform work orders in Maintenance Connection.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Practice safe work practices and comply with IDT safety policy.
- Comply with IDT’s Quality Policy and adhere to ISO 9001 Standards & requirements.

**Education**:

- ITE certified /Diploma in science related field or an equivalent combination of education & experience required.

**Professional Experience**:

- Must have the ability to learn the basic knowledge of laboratory manufacturing processes.
- Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.

**Other Job Qualifications**
- Have good computer skills and the ability to multitask.
- Possess the ability to adapt to changes in the process.
- Must be able to interact in a professional manner with employees, and all levels of management.
- Be able to work in a group or independently.
