Assistant Boilerman

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate the boilers which include chemical dosage, pre-test of the boiler water and water softener dosage/treatment.
- Ensure boiler maintenance program is followed - liaise with contractors on servicing and repairs of the boiler and related equipment and accessories which include returned lines, steam hoses / connections, steam returned lines, steam pressure control valves, water tank, etc.
- Carry out steam heating in accordance to requirement - i) log temperature reading; ii) samples collected and labelled; and iii) timely delivery of both laden tanks and sample
- Observe all safety precautions at work and meet OHSE management requirement.
- Observe no dark smoke emitted from the chimney and no chemical / oil / diesel leakage from drums diesel storage tank or forklift truck.
- Assist to prepare tanks for cleaning.

**Requirements**:

- Willing to work in Jurong Island
- Must have Class 2 Boiler Attendant Certificate
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the related field
- Able to work day/night shift schedule (3 shifts), with fixed shift allowance
- Possess good work discipline

Eligible for fixed shift allowance

5 days’ work week (Mon-Fri) with rest day on Sundays
- First shift: 7.30am to 4.30pm
- Second shift: 4.00pm to 1.00am
- Third shift: 12.30am to 9.30am
