DESIGNATION : Enrolled Nurse (Nursing Home)*

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Registered Nurse in delivering, manage and co-ordinate quality and competent clinical care to enhance the well-being of the residents. You will also supervise the activities of Nursing Aides and Care Assistants.

Job responsibilities:

- Responsible for the admission and orientation of new residents
- Carry out nursing rounds with Registered Nurse and assist in the delivery of nursing care
- Check, monitor and record residents’ vital sign
- Administer and document client medications and prescribed treatment accurately.
- Observe changes in the residents health conditions and report these to the Staff Nurse
- Perform or organize and send residents for appropriate rehabilitation exercise / procedures
- Ensure the comfort and good personal hygiene of the residents
- Establish and maintain effective communication with all other health professionals, support staff, families and care providers
- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, coordinate and supervise a team of health care assistants
- Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
- Other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse

QUALIFICATIONS
- NITEC in Nursing
- Valid Practicing certificate issued by the SNB
- Valid BCLs certification
- Preferably Registered Nurse with two
- three years in Nursing home / Geriatric ward
