**Assistant Accounting Manager job description**:
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.
Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
**Responsibilities**
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
Create and update expense reports.
Process reimbursement forms.
Prepare bank deposits.
Maintain financial records up to date.
Prepare and send credit memos, purchase orders and invoices.
Process company sales invoices, receipt and payment from customers to suppliers.
Maintain and monitor account payables.
Able to follow up on outstanding balances as and when required.
Monitor and maintaining financial records of an employer's incoming and outgoing finances.
Ability to handle multiple insurance claims.
Create and update expense reports.
Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
Issue bills to customers and external partners, as needed.
Evaluate, organize and file payroll documents.
Carry out administrative duties such as filing, recording minutes at meetings, etc.
Assist account manager with audit, forecasts and other financial information and planning.
Manage the day to day budgeting tasks.
Resolve errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting.
May have work on holidays.
Helping the company to meet its financial goals.
Managing and maintaining the client’s accounts.
Entering payroll information into accounting software.
Maintaining the ledger entry journals.
Processing invoices and receipts.
Planning and developing budget constraints.
Assisting with audits along with the Auditors.
Contacting the clients to discuss the accounting status.
Handling daily accounting activities.
Providing accounting support to the other department.
Verifying and processing all accounting transactions.
Preparing accounting and financial reports.
Ensuring all the financial activities are accurate.
Taking necessary steps to reduce loss.
**Requirements and skills**:
Knowledge of basic book keeping procedures.
Familiarity with finance regulations.
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Tally ERP).
Organization skills.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Process company sales invoices, receipt and payment from customers to suppliers.
Maintain and monitor account payables.
