Vaccinator Nurse

**Requirements:

- Perform reconstitution of vaccines
- Verify clients' identity prior to administering of vaccine to ensure that the vaccine would be administered to the correct client
- Prepare and administer covid-19 vaccine in a safe manner to clients
- Ensure correct vaccine, correct dose and vaccine is not expired
- Perform various screening and diagnostic tests, ascertain client’s suitability for vaccination based on screening history
- Provide post vaccination advice to clients
- Observe and check patient
- Independently order, prepare, administer and document vaccine given
- Manage vaccine inventory
- Attend to any medical emergencies
- Ensure sharps are disposed of in a safe manner
**Requirements:
- **
- Registered Staff Nurse with a valid practicing certificate from Singapore Nursing Board (SNB);
- Preferably BCLS and AED certified and able to perform acute emergency care if necessary
- Familiar with vaccination preparation including cold chain management, dilution and record-keeping
- Possesses sound technical knowledge in administering vaccinations - aseptic techniques, documentation, patient screening and counselling
- Disciplined in the management of biohazards and infection;
- Stay current and well informed on COVID-19 vaccine situations;
- Possesses the ability to establish a rapport with the clients and ensure that they receive the vaccination comfortably
- Mature and objective lead, possess leadership quality and positive interpersonal skills to be an in-charge of the shift
