Engineering Specialist, Media Equipment Maintenance

**About our group**:
Equipment Engineering’s group’s primary mission is to provide technical solutions and good maintenance to our machinery. This enables our Equipment production machine to have good product qualification, product yield, quality, and reliability. The team also serves a critical maintenance role, working closely with and enabling other functions in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Computer & Automation Technology, and Manufacturing. This role will report to an Engineering Manager.
**About the role - you will**:
- Perform assigned duties to install and maintain production machine or equipment
- Work with a team of Technician to perform the task given
- Provide unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repair task
- Perform simple daily machine checklist responsibilities
- Perform tasks assigned by Team lead and Engineer for required maintenance and service
- Assist in diagnosing problems, replacing or repair parts, testing and make adjustments with circuit diagram
- Report writing (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) when required
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Assist Engineers / Peers for project improvement as needed
**About you**:
- Ability to work effectively with other teams for continuous improvements
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to contribute as a team player
- Good interpersonal, analytical, fast-learner, problem-solver, and communication skills
- Willing to work on 12-hour fixed shift
**Your experience includes**:
- Knowledge and skills in any of these areas Automation, Electronics, Electrical Control, Mechanical components
- Good Circuit diagram skills - will be beneficial in this role
- Data collection and data analysis techniques are all skills that will be beneficial in this role.
- Proficient in English speaking and writing
**Location**:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
