**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and synchronize various project streams within the APAC Core Banking IT domain. This role focuses on major initiatives such as platform merges, migrations, and evolution projects, requiring a blend of Techno-Functional skills, effective communication across diverse business units, and a problem-solving mindset to navigate the project lifecycle effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment, managing both major projects and several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and managing all project facets to deliver quality and timely results.
- Drive the analysis and documentation of business requirements, prepare detailed project plans, and ensure rigorous internal quality control throughout the project.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing clear updates and synthesized presentations to the steering committee and handling post-production issues efficiently.

**Competencies & Qualifications**:

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and gain buy-in across various levels of an organization, including executive leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to work creatively in a challenging environment.
- Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies; familiarity with tools such as JIRA, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required; Master’s degree and PMP certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of project management experience in financial services, with substantial involvement in IT system migrations.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Unix, and a solid understanding of Core Banking systems.
