**Head Chef (Western Food Restaurant)**
- Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including but not limited to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
- oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients
- ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
- keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
- hires and trains new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
- manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records.
- supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
- coordinates with the restaurant management team on supply orders, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.

**Job Requirements**
- Professional Diploma / Nitec in food & beverage services management / culinary skills.
- 4-5 Years' Experience in fine dining restaurants, American food and well knowledge of steak house.
- Food Hygiene handling certificate is a must (required).

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Head Chef: 4 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
