[What the role is]

The Technology Office drives the development and deployment of technology to boost Singapore’s competitiveness as an air hub.

[What you will be working on]
- Develop aviation technology road map and sustainable engineering capability plan in consultation with various stakeholders in the aviation/airport operations ecosystem.
- Develop business plan and an integrated technology and engineering development roadmap.
- Lead system architecting and system development efforts.
- Conduct system trade-off analysis
- Assess technical performance metrics, identify and manage risks factors.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions.
- Supervise new product development.
- Collaborate with the industry and key stakeholders to define and execute goals, strategy, and vision.
- Design strategies for future development projects based on aviation sector’s overall objectives and resources.
- Work with Research performers to evaluate suitability of projects for eventual deployment.
- Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and processes.
- Develop Strategy to build sector’s engineering capability.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to identify, build and retain sector’s key engineering capability.
- Enhance the recruitment, training and retention of key engineering capabilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the sustenance of core engineering competencies.
- Develop strategies and framework to ensure projects under evaluation can comply with industry security, safety and compliance standards.
- Lead on multiple cross-functional quality initiatives for improve QA process improvements.

- Trained in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and drive win-win outcomes with stakeholders
