1. Responsible for Laser Machine programming.

2. selecting lenses, loading programs, and calculating machine specs and parameters based on the thickness and type of material use.

3. Set up, operate and maintain CNC laser to produce parts using setup instructions. Load laser program on the computer and modifies them, as needed, to optimize performance and part yield

4. Min 2 year programming lasers for sheet metal fabrication

5. Experience with Bystronics & Sheetworks Software a plus.

6. Ability to work overtime when necessary to complete priority jobs

7. Utilizes Work Orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.

8. Performs visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications

9. Program and maintain current file revisions of all client part.

10. Interpret engineering blueprints to draw (program) flat pattern layouts of parts using CAD/CAM software

11. Reverse engineer parts for manufacturing

12. Prepare detailed standardized work instructions and set-up sheets.

13. Maintains the Laser and reports any maintenance issues
