**Job Summary**
Analyzes business requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Designs software systems.

**Responsibilities**
Requirements Analysis
- Work with PO/PM and other key stakeholders to develop effective and efficient business solutions in sustainability.
- Be accountable and participate in continuous grooming with the Product Owner
- Participation in code review process and set clean coding practice
- Ability to work in a globally distributed engineering team
- Responsible for operating in a DevSecOps environment with quality first attitude.
- Mentor junior team members

DevOps
- Defines roadmap of automation tools and its value to software engineering practices
- Drives infrastructure provisioning working with cross-domain teams and works on projecting future infrastructure capacity
- Takes accountability of the Design Reviews and deliverables

Technical Project Management
- Provides level of effort (LOE)
- Works with technical project managers and product management teams to define schedule
- Provides status reports
- Defines and drives release management planning

R&D/Innovation
- Investigates, analyzes, and evaluates new technologies
- Influences senior management in setting the organization's technical objectives
- Keeps abreast of new developments to help define the necessary changes to practice

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of education
- At least 10 years' experience in Java-based or any other programming language with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Must have strong skills in enterprise Java technology stack including Spring Boot, JPA/Spring Data, REST APIs, Swagger, maven, gradle, JUnit
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle DB
- Strong computer programming foundation with knowledge of Data Structures, Concurrency, Algorithms and Design Patterns
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GHA and Istio
- Experience using a public cloud like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, and deployment
