-PRODUCT MANAGER (FORECASTING AND REPLENISHMENT)Role OverviewThe PRODUCT MANAGER (FORECASTING AND REPLENISHMENT) responsible for the strategic direction and execution of FairPrice Group's forecasting and replenishment (F&R) capabilities. It involves leading the development and implementation of F&R solutions, leveraging platforms like Blue Yonder or Relex, to optimize inventory management and ensure product availability.The incumbent will collaborate closely with various teams (Inventory, supply chain, category management, IT, data science) to define requirements, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and replenishment processes. Essentially, this role ensures FairPrice has the right products in the right place at the right timeKey ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Execution- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Forecasting and Replenishment solutions, ensuring alignment with FairPrice Group’s business objectives.
- Evaluate and implement features of third-party F&R tools such as Blue Yonder, Relex, and others to address business needs.
- Drive adoption of scalable solutions by ensuring proper configurations, integrations, and user training.
Forecasting Expertise- Provide insights into category dynamics and their impact on forecasting accuracy and replenishment cycles.
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to incorporate AI/ML-driven forecasting models where relevant.
Cross-functional Collaboration- Work closely with business stakeholders, including Inventory, supply chain, category management, and IT teams, to capture requirements and define to-be business processes.
- Interface with engineering and consulting teams to ensure seamless system integration and solution delivery.
Implementation & Optimization- Lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, design, and testing of F&R solutions.
- Continuously monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.
Stakeholder Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for business and technical stakeholders, managing communications and resolving dependencies.
- Identify roadblocks, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth project execution.
Process Improvement & Innovation- Proactively identify opportunities to improve forecasting and replenishment processes using advanced tools and technologies.
- Stay updated on market trends and advancements in F&R platforms to advise on innovative solutions.
