**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Modeller/ Draghtman Job Description**

We are looking for a self-motivated draftsman/ modeller who can work alongside with engineer, he/ she will usually work at our offices, but will at times need to fulfill travel requirements and work on-site site meeting/ inspection. An exceptional draftsman/ modeller will demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and have sound knowledge of the discipline they draft for.

**Draftsman/ Modeller Responsibilities**:
1. Following specifications and engineers’ draft detail to create various technical drawings.

2. Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems, such as Autocad and Revit.

3. Communicating with external professional, architects, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.

4. Aware and comply with project requirements

5. Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.

6. Ensuring final designs drawings are compliant with building regulations and current codes from authorities, such as BCA. LTA, Nparks and PUB.

7. Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.

8. Coordinate drawings with other design services to ensure everyone knows and follows requirements

9. Communicate with various authorities in resolving technical problem.

10. File documents so that they can be easily retrieved.

11. Manage the submission of documents to clients and relevant authorities, to ensure project progress on time.

12. Ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

**Draftsman/ Modeller Requirements**:
a. Technical certificate in Engineering/ Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering.

b. Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).

c. Ability to draw manually favorable, but not essential.

d. Ability to work well in a team and on your own.

e. Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
