Roles & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**

Your key responsibilities are as follow, but not limited to:

- Leading, managing and developing The Winstedt School’s foreign language programmes such as Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, German, and French.
- Convening language courses and supporting language teaching.
- Tracking students’ language assignments and progress.
- Communicating students’ language progress to parents.
- Designing and implementing intervention plans to facilitate students’ progress.
Collect learning data.
- Assess each child’s functional and educational needs.
- Prepare and submit Progress Reports to Head of School as required.
- To implement and facilitate the implementation of The Winstedt School’s ABAR (Anti-Bias, Anti-Racist) Curriculum.
- To develop an understanding and knowledge of cultures beyond the students’ own culture.
- To coordinate with the IPC/IMYC Heads of Department on developing the students’ knowledge of their host country and culture.
- To coordinate and organize cultural activities, lessons and events throughout the school.
- Join and contribute to Committees to ensure a progressive and inclusive School community.
- Provide supervision and guidance to new senior teachers and co-teachers.
- Attend training sessions both internal and external.
- Contribute and provide professional feedback during meetings.
- Liaise with other health professionals, senior teachers, co
- teachers, and administrative staff as required.
- Adhere to The Winstedt School policies and procedures.
- Ensure conduct is professional and ethical.
- All sensitive documents, personal notes, and communication related to students is kept private and confidential.
- Develop knowledge and expertise within the team and by engaging in and conducting professional development activities.
- Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and with children, senior teachers, co-teachers, and other stakeholders of the School.
- Suggest, lead, and participate in service development and improvement activities within the team.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve campus-wide, departmental and/or grade level goals.
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal and the CEO.
**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an International School setting.
- Committed and passionate in inclusive education.
- General knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Classroom Technologies is required.
- Exceptional knowledge in the use of technology to support instruction.
- Demonstrates exceptional skill in the roles of a teacher as well as a leader.
