**About SAESL**

A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services.

As a result of the sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes: Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a _state-of-the-art_ Engine Test Facility that supports our best in class engine turnaround times.

- To provide engineering support - perform daily technical review and disposition to ensure that the processes and parts conform to the OEM requirements.
- To generate, maintain and update the work instructions required for the repair processes. Review any updated engine manual revisions and ensure that relevant documents (e.g. Work Instructions/SMO/SOP, etc) are updated.
- To lead the design and fabrication of OEM and non-OEM tooling/fixtures/inspection gages required for the existing product and process.
- To develop toolings, fixture, inspection gauges, acquire new equipment and capability, develop new work instructions, data cards, repair process and SMOs required for the new products & processes.
- To Conduct FAIRs/ FPA/ MSA/ Production Readiness required for improvement/ changes to new repairs.
- To work closely with Metrologist to achieve MSA requirements.
- To lead the New Product Introduction / Repair Development Projects for (RR and non RR) Engine components.
- To lead technology development with OEM (Rolls Royce) and Research Institute (including but not limited to ARTC) to bring new technology into production.
- To work with other Engineering team on systematic approach in transitioning approved FAIR documents to production readiness.
- Accountable for work delivery, HS&E, well-being and ethics.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

**Qualification/Experience**
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation MRO Engineering.
- Knowledge of Gas Turbine Engine repair processes (Eg. Welding, Machining, Painting, Plasma, etc) is beneficial.
