**Description**:
As Debug Counsel, you will support Verily's Debug business from Singapore. You will counsel executives and the Debug teams on a broad array of environmental, product, commercial, government contracting, and IP laws and regulations that are implicated in the commercialization of Verily's Debug business in Singapore, and more broadly in Asia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide counsel on all Debug matters, including regulatory compliance, managing disputes and enforcement actions, managing and maintaining intellectual property assets, and managing a high volume and wide range of commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, development agreements, services agreements, and leases/real estate agreements.
- Provide counsel on the manufacture, marketing, deployment, and use of products, including product development, testing, approval, labeling, transportation, release and maintenance of products OUS.
- Provide counsel on import/export requirements, product registration (and re-registration), and obtaining and maintaining all applicable authorizations/licenses/permits to bring product to market for sale and distribution, and ensure continued compliance with applicable environmental, safety and labeling regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams as a key strategic partner to provide practical solutions to advance business and product goals, including working with international teams and local counsel on risk allocation and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement processes to achieve effective internal controls, stay informed of industry-specific regulations to support appropriate risk management strategies, and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous/complex situations.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor from accredited institution, and active member of the Singapore bar.
- 6+ years of attorney experience at a law firm or in-house with a multinational corporation (or a mix).
- Must sit in Singapore.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience as product/regulatory counsel and commercial counsel a plus.
- Knowledge/interest in sterile insect technology a plus.
