Singapore Plain Vanilla Bakery Full time

We are searching for a skilled and creative florist to join our growing team at Wonderland Botanicals on a full time basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and make floral arrangements (hand bouquets, flower stands, vase arrangements, centerpieces, hampers) adhering to our pricing and costing guidelines.
- Ideate and prepare client proposals, making recommendations on flower mix and arrangement style based on the client’s brief, style preferences, budget, and occasion.
- Learn our house style of wrapping bouquets and be able to do so effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure all creative tasks are carried out to meet deadlines.
- Assist with flower care responsibilities, maintaining the floral fridge as required
- Optimise use of flowers to minimise wastage.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies.
- Help to maintain the cleanliness of the floral studio.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Studio Manager, Creative Head or the Directors.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years working experience as a Florist is required for this position.
- Must be able to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphic software necessary for creating floral proposals.
- Possess knowledge of floral varieties and intermediate skills in floral techniques.
- Having Certification in Floristry and other design experience or qualification is highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able and willing to work independently, demonstrate strong team player qualities, a positive, can do attitude and an exemplary work ethic.
- Willing to work shifts and weekends.

The kind of scents, flavours, and textures that make us nostalgic for days gone by.
