**Purpose of this role**:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Providing scientific and technical support to internal customers and collaborators from Research and Product Development as needed.
Identifying feasibility studies necessary to ensure critical analytical criteria of new products and products of value engineering are understood.
Conducting studies, proposing iterative changes as necessary, to ensure that performance criteria can be met.
Generating data and reports to support feasibility studies as required
Designing multi-faceted validation plans that assess performance of new product development: their sub-systems and their integration
Preparing validation protocols and reports presenting validation data and results to internal customers
Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines
Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Why you?

**Basic Qualifications**:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Minimum Masters or Ph.D. in Analytical or Bio Analytical Chemistry or Biology preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Academia/Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
Experience in quantitative and qualitative bioanalyses of large molecules is required.
Proven cross-functional team participation skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**If you have the following experiences, it would be a plus**:
Experience with Applied Research in the field of Science/Chemistry/Engineering will be a bonus

Knowledge of Statistics, Design of Experiments and Risk Analysis (i.e. FMEA, Cause and Effect etc.) will be advantageous.
