**The Role: Barista**

You’re more than just a great coffee maker — you’re a key player in someone’s recovery journey. As a Barista at The Ice Bath Club, you will serve drinks and recovery-enhancing beverages with care and attention, while also helping to set the emotional tone of the club.

You’re the first smile someone sees before their plunge — and the comforting presence they return to after. You help make the ritual feel human, warm, and welcoming.

**Your Impact**

**Recovery-Focused Beverage Service**
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, tonics, and functional recovery beverages with precision and care.
- Understand and explain the purpose and ingredients of our recovery menu items.
- Support members’ physical and emotional experience by creating a warm, grounded service environment.

**Exceptional Member Experience**
- Welcome guests with confidence, hospitality, and presence — especially in early mornings or post-immersion states.
- Learn members’ names, preferences, and create meaningful micro-moments with every interaction.
- Maintain a calm, friendly energy in a fast-paced, sensory-rich space.

**Cleanliness & Club Care**
- Keep the café and front-of-house area impeccably clean, stocked, and well-organized.
- Handle food prep, hygiene protocols, and allergen awareness with attention to detail.
- Ensure music, lighting, scent, and flow all support a premium wellness environment.

**Team & Operations Support**
- Collaborate with Ice Bath Trainers and the front-of-house team to manage club flow.
- Support booking inquiries, POS transactions, and member questions when needed.
- Provide feedback to the Club Manager about member preferences, stock levels, or process improvements.

**You Bring Must-Have Qualities**
- 3+ years experience as a barista, hospitality team member, or café all-rounder.
- Calm, friendly energy with high emotional awareness — you read the room well.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and cleanliness standards.
- Enthusiasm for wellness, recovery, and delivering a daily feel-good experience.
- Comfort working mornings, evenings, and weekends in a team-based environment.

**Bonus Points For**
- Experience in wellness cafés, juice bars, functional tonics, or supplement-based drinks.
- Interest in cold immersion, breathwork, and performance recovery.
- First Aid or Food Hygiene certifications.
- Confident communicator who loves connecting with people.
