Singapore AP EXECUTIVE PTE. LTD. Full time

Our client, a prestigious asset management firm, is seeking to hire an investment associate.

**Responsibilities**:
The investment associate can expect to:

- Support senior investment professionals to research industries & companies in Asia-Pacific ex-Japan.
- Work with mínimal guidance to identify & evaluate investment opportunities and come up with a comprehensive investment thesis with high clarity.
- Conduct primary due diligence on the portfolio or potential companies through financial & value-chain analysis, expert/stakeholders calls, site visits, corporate engagement, and on-the-ground data collection.
- Building and maintaining financial models.
- Synthesize insights from various sources and take a view of the industry and individual stocks.
- Good understanding of financial concepts and business acumen
- Building and maintaining financial models.
- Foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including companies’ management, experts, and sell-side analysts.

**Qualifications**:

- Less than 3 years of work experience preferably in the following fields: public equities, private equity, investment banking analyst, management consultant, healthcare or hardware technology analyst, investor relations, or in-house M&A analyst.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA is highly preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly and perform well under pressure to produce deliverables in a timely fashion.
- Ability to collaborate with other investment professionals.
- Possess an understanding of financial concepts and showcase business acumen.
- Possess great communication and interpersonal skills, including building rapport with investee companies.
- Practice intellectual curiosity & intellectual humility.
- Passion for investments should be apparent through past experiences.
- Strong command of English. Basic command of Mandarin Chinese is a must. Proficiency in Business Chinese is preferred.
