DESIGNATION : Risk Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES

NTUC Health is one of the largest community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. We want to make a difference in our community by continuously exploring and expanding our services. We are recruiting dynamic and capable individuals to join our finance team to support risk and compliance functions.

Risk Management:

- Supporting the team in developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the ERM framework for the Organisation
- Working with business units in striking a balanced approach between business growth and risk management
- Supporting the business units’ risk representatives and Head in understanding how to identify risks and conduct risk assessments in their scope of work
- Conducting risk assessments, documenting and regularly reviewing risks of all types across the Organisation
- Supporting the team with the reporting and monitoring of the risks, fraud and key incidents to business unit heads, Risk Management Committee, Audit & Risk Committees and Board of Directors
- Monitoring that the risk treatments, as well as the controls, are in place and effective.
- Supporting the risk management training, develop training content that is dynamic and relevant to the ever-changing risk environment
- Liaising and working with Insurance broker/company to ensure that the known risks are covered
- Support the team’s projects related to Risk Management
- Perform administration of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) system

Data Governance:

- Support Data Governance Committee and Data Protection Officer in ensuring the effectiveness of data governance and compliance to regulation/legislation
- Help promulgate a mindset which fosters the aims of the principles and best practices within each policy
- Manage and perform briefings/trainings to promote data governance awareness
- Communicate detailed instructions or guidance on how data and information assets should be classified, handled, accessed and retained.
- Contributing to people initiatives
- Contributing to an educational program to continually develop interpersonal and technical skills of staff
- Understanding and following workplace policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
- Recognized Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management or other related field
- At least 2 complete years of experience gained in an enterprise risk management/ internal or external auditing or related field
- Strong computer skills such as Google Workspace
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Able to demonstrate respect, integrity, care, excellence and passion
