Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
As a Chef:

- Prepare and cook a variety of simple, high-quality dishes such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and breakfast items.
- Ensure all food is prepared fresh and to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the cafe manager to plan and create seasonal menus.

As a Barista:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly.
- Provide excellent customer service, taking orders, and handling transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the barista station and dining area.
- Educate customers on our menu offerings and answer any questions they may have.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a cafe or similar environment.
- Barista experience, with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A passion for food and beverage, with a creative flair for menu development.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
