You will work cross-functionally with security, DevOps, and cloud teams to ensure that container platforms are hardened, monitored, and auditable, and meet all internal and regulatory security standards. Experience in threat mitigation, vulnerability management, and secure configuration of cluster components is crucial for this position.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, upgrade, and configure OpenShift 4.x clusters using IPI/UPI with a focus on secure deployment patterns
- Manage and secure cluster components such as Operators, ETCD, ConfigMaps, Secrets, ServiceAccounts, and Network Policies
- Enforce RBAC, OAuth integration, TLS encryption, and container image scanning across environments
- Implement and maintain compliance controls (CIS benchmarks, Red Hat guidelines, etc.) in cluster configurations
- Configure and monitor audit logs, alerts, and cluster-level security policies using Prometheus/Grafana, Sysdig, or Falco
- Harden Linux systems and OpenShift nodes based on security baselines (e.g., SELinux, firewall rules, access restrictions)
- Support secure integration of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tooling (e.g., Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Trivy, Anchore)
- Manage secure access to registries including Red Hat and custom mirror registries
- Conduct root cause analysis on incidents and security breaches, and support remediation plans
- Document and maintain SOPs, system architecture, and compliance reports for internal audits

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field
- OpenShift 4.x administration with security emphasis (IPI/UPI, MCP, Operators, ETCD, etc.)
- Linux system hardening (firewall, SELinux, SSH, secure networking)
- Secure use of Secrets, ConfigMaps, ServiceAccounts, and RBAC policies
- Docker/Kubernetes security principles (Pod Security Policies, network segmentation, image scanning)
- Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (EX280) - _Required _
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes (EX180) - _Preferred _
- Security certifications such as RHCE, CKA, CKS, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
- DevSecOps tools: Trivy, Clair, Sysdig, Falco, Anchore, Aqua Security
- CI/CD security: Git, Jenkins, Ansible with secure pipeline integration
- Security logging and monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, AuditD, Syslog, or ELK Stack
- Cloud platform security in AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean (IAM, VPC, KMS, S3 encryption, etc.)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks: CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC
