**Job Description**:
**OVERVIEW**

The MCR/TX Associate is an essential team member of the technical operations function who will maintain the video and audio functions of Master Control/Transmission, as well as ensure the integrity of the network origination and channels being broadcast 24/7. You should possess the ability to manually switch to back-up systems, maintain discrepancy logs and trouble shoot first-line technical issues in Master Control.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate transmission and satellite record facilities in Master Control facility
- Monitor all outgoing channels, incoming feeds, assess initial faults and notify relevant personnel on faults accordingly
- Respond to all transmission related matters that arise in a timely and effective manner
- Liaise with external bureaus via Interruptible Foldback (IFB), coordinate communication lines and to make bookings with third-party supplier(s) for ad-hoc services as required
- Ingest, transfer and copy material(s) as required, log all transactions and report any technical/equipment faults to Engineering team
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Demonstrated experience in Broadcast environment (MCR/TX experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Morpheus UX Playout Automation and GV Stratus systems
- Willingness and flexibility to work rotating shifts, on weekends and public holidays
- Strong English reading and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
