**Job Description**:
Mathnasium is a rapidly growing maths only-learning center that offers both maths help and enrichment to students in grades K2 - Grade 9 (Sec 3), with most of our students currently K2 to Primary. Each student in our program receives a customized learning plan based on our proprietary teaching material. Join us for the opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life by passing on a love for maths We are offering part-time positions at the Mathnasium centre at The Forum (Orchard Road) with ongoing training opportunities. Positions are available immediately.
The position includes teaching responsibilities as well as helping to manage instruction and student learning plans. There will be comprehensive training provided in the Mathnasium Method and other teaching skills.
Compensation:
$25-$40 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience
Required Qualifications:
- Strong math skills and some teaching experience
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
- Energetic and confident personality
Knowledge of the Singapore Primary School maths curriculum / PSLE and related teaching experience is highly desirable.
The learning center environment will be supportive and encouraging. Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to success.
Hours available:
Monday to Friday - 2.30pm - 7.30pm
Saturday and Sunday - 10am - 3pm
