**Role Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for accuracy and timely consolidation of financial statements and management reports for the region, including subsidiary companies or business units and this involves reconciling intercompany transactions, eliminating duplicate entries and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare and present consolidated financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements to senior management, stakeholders and external parties such as auditors and/or regulatory bodies.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity during the consolidation process. Identify and rectify control weaknesses and discrepancies that may impact financial reporting accuracy.
- Manage and oversee intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring that they are properly documented and reconciled. Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and other tax-related considerations
- Ensure that Group accounting policies and procedures are consistently applied across all entities within the organisation and that the consolidated financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Monitor new regulations, in particular with respect to finance, accounting and fiscal matters, and assess the impact on the business.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of consolidated results, identifying trends, anomalies and areas of concern. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision making.
- Collaborate with other finance teams, business partners, business units to facilitate the budgeting and forecasting process. Consolidate budget and forecast data to present a holistic view of the organisation’s financial performance using Group’s tools. Challenges, inquiries and consolidates best estimate forecasting, risk and opportunities analysis for a dedicated asset perimeter.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with the operation teams and support function teams to derive performance actions, forecast and track actual performance on a monthly basis
- Work closely with internal and external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations for consolidated financial statements and related transactions.
- Continuously assess and improve the consolidation process to enhance efficiency, accuracy and timeliness. Implement automation and technology solutions where applicable.
- Contribute to the development of the organisation’s financial strategy by providing insights based on consolidated financial data and industry benchmarks.
- Identify and assess financial risks associated with the consolidated process and take proactive measures to mitigate the risks.

**Requirements**:

- Master/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in finance, business control, FP&A, group management reporting consolidation or equivalent
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Strong working experience of FP&A and/or BI tools
- Knowledge of the business models and risk allocation schemes applicable to long-term project financed assets preferably
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to drive and influence change management.
