**Job Description & Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cost Analysis & Reporting**:

- Monitor and analyze production costs, variance reports, and profitability.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and analysis to support management decisions.
- Develop and maintain accurate product costing models, including standard and actual costs.

**Inventory & Material Cost Control**:

- Track inventory movement and ensure accurate valuation.
- Monitor material usage and wastage to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and conduct periodic stock audits.

**System Setup & Maintenance**:

- Assist in setting up and configuring the cost accounting module within the ERP system (e.g., SAP or equivalent).
- Ensure accurate input of cost data during the ERP implementation and validate data integrity.
- Collaborate with the finance and IT teams to streamline accounting processes and workflows.

**Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Provide input for pricing strategies by analyzing cost implications.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify inefficiencies in the production process and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Provide insights to support new product launches and project costing.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage to communicating with the Mandarin-speaking staff in China.

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing or technology environment.
- Prior experience assisting with ERP system setup, configuration, or enhancement is a plus.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Experience with ERP systems.

**Soft Skills**:

- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
