The SLS Laboratory Scientist is responsible to perform assigned tests following Pall standard test procedures and completing the tasks on time. The Scientist will be part of a team working together in the Micro E SLS laboratory that enables the business unit to achieve new product development and technology innovation.

This position is part of the Micro E Scientific and Laboratory Department and will be located in the Tuas, Singapore - Onsite.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with state-of-the-art analytical equipment that measures trace (ppb/ppt) level of contaminants in filters; to focus on data accuracy of the laboratory output, equipment performance expectations (calibration, trouble-shooting of equipment failures)- Interact with SLS global laboratory team to exchange experience and knowledge, and work on continuous improvement projects in laboratory operation- Learn and maintain laboratory Healthy, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations

The essential requirements of the job include:
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry.- Min 2 years experience working in a cleanroom environment- Min 2 years experience performing analytical tests- Knowledge and experience in writing laboratory reports- Handling of chemicals including hazardous materials

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Operation of liquid particle counters (sub-um) or analytical equipment such as ICPMS, GCMS, AA- Working in a laboratory environment involved in trace analysis- Working in a semiconductor technical role
