**Your next job in a nutshell**
We are looking for a highly independent Energy Engineer to join a multicultural team based in Singapore, someone able to analyse Energy / Utility System’s performances supported by digital technologies. The position requires good experience and engineering knowledge of ACMV/compression-expansion systems, industrial processes, controls.
**We will trust you to**:
- Analyse the Energy performance of industrial and commercial facilities and engage companies on improving Energy management practices.
- Schedule and perform on-site Energy Assessments, reports & recommendations, presentations.
- Work closely with the Teale Engineers team, external clients and partners, using your expertise and experience to support & build relationships.
- Assist in business development including pre-sales activities and promotion of company products and services.
- Act in the Short/Medium term as Key Account Manager with a few of our recurring clients in Southeast Asia.
**You will need to have**:
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and be able to multi-task.
- A desire to learn the use of several different best of breed digital technologies in Energy Management Systems (**EMS**) and their implementation for end-users and clients.
- Technical/Engineering education or relevant experience in energy, environment, mechanical or electrical engineering.
- The ability to perform independent field work within commercial and industrial facilities.
- Decent understanding of data communications and data processing.
**We would love to see**:
- A good level of experience in industrial processes, utilities & energy, ideally **SCEM **(Singapore Certified Energy Manager) with **Green Mark** **certification **experience.
- Ability to analyse and quantify energy savings in projects involving chillers, boiler plants, motors, compressors, control-logic, distributed generation and Renewables (Solar).
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python or SQL) will be a plus.
- Knowledge on Build environment communication protocols such as BACnet or Modbus will be a plus.
- Experience in the implementation of Utility automated analytics including Fault-Detection and Diagnostics (**FDD**) rule based algos would be a plus. **Machine Learning** Predictive model development is also part of the Company recurrent portfolio.
- Knowledge of IPMVP and ASHRAE / LEED or Singapore BCA standards.
- Motivation to meet the challenge of global GHGs reduction challenge.
- Preferably coming from an ESCO (Energy Service Company).
