Job Responsibilities Include:
- Approach companies and organizations to promote Capstone and solicit adequate Capstone project proposals for senior students to participate in;
- Make follow up calls to encourage companies to submit project proposals;
- Work with companies during scoping phase to ensure alignment with Capstone project requirements;
- Review potential project proposals with Capstone committee & partners in joint review sessions
- Follow through on finalizing Capstone agreement with companies;
- Work with Finance to ensure payment has been made by companies that are participating in the Capstone Program;
- Reconciliation of expenses made by Project teams during the Capstone Program;
- Preparation and set up of the annual Capstone Showcase together with vendors and SUTD departments;
- Work with the students and companies in the successful handing over of the completed prototype at the end of Capstone; and
- Plan the allocation and arranging of Capstone facilities such as classrooms and other laboratories in SUTD for Capstone Program usage with respective SUTD departments. This is to ensure capstone facilities are condusive for teaching and prototyping.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in any discipline with minimum 5 years of experience in engineering sales / business development
- Excellent communications and networking skills
- Organized, detailed and results oriented
